General Motors is definitely hitting the young Y generation group with the launch of the All-New Chevrolet Sonic. If you go to the website www.letsdothis.com, you can personally click on the Sonic all the way until it falls 10 stories down in San Diego! You heard me right, you can go on the Internet and each click brings it closer to the edge. Now when it falls off, it is connected to a bungee cord which will not allow it to crash.
It is also tide into an online game mode where you can earn points for performing certain tasks. This digital campaign mode is only for the first three months then the TV ads will pick up. Now that is a nifty campaign. It's something different, but cool in a way.

The Chevrolet Sonic has Arrived!
The buzz from Chevrolet has finally arrived at Eriks Chevrolet. We can see why now. When new vehicles come out, you can never tell how it is going to look until you see one with your own eyes. Chevrolet did a great job on the Sonic Sedan.
We at Eriks got our first Sonic, a 2012 2LT Sedan. There is a Hatchback 5-dr version, but we will not get one of those for another month or so. This one has the Connectivity Plus Cruise package: remote vehicle start, cruise controls, steering wheel controls, Bluetooth for phone, and USB port. That package is a great addition for only $525.00.
The Chevy Sonic replaced the Chevy Aveo. There are some characteristics between the two vehicles but the cool thing about this Sonic, is it is assembled out of Michigan, compared to the Aveo, which was assembled out of Korea. That is a major plus. The engine is the 1.8L, same as the base engine of the Chevy Cruze.

The First Chevy Camaro Convertible SOLD in Kokomo, IN
When people first heard that Chevrolet was coming out with the Chevy Camaro Convertible, there was buzz that could be heard around the country. Now it is here, the Chevy Camaro Convertible has arrived. The first Camaro Convertible sold in Kokomo, IN was delivered today at 3:30 PM, March 4, 2011 by Tim Smith, one of our sales consultants.
Tim Smith sold the Camaro to Derrick Parson, a long time customer of Eriks Chevrolet. It is a 2SS Victory Red with a black top, beautiful I might add. This vehicle has 400 horsepower and 410 pounds of torque.
What intrigued you to the convertible? Derrick's answer was plain and simple, "it was a convertible". Enough said, that will bring many people to the Chevy line of Camaros. GM knew this and that's why it's here. This vehicle is going to be a staple and a hot seller in the next couple of months and years to come.
So when you are out and about in Kokomo, and you see a red Camaro Convertible, you'll know that it's Derrick Parson. "Take a victory lap around Kokomo, with the top down," Derrick said after he was asked what he plans to do now that he owns a Chevy Convertible. Unfortunately as Derrick pulled away it was still raining, but as I finish this post the sun is starting to shine. I bet I know what Derrick is doing right now. Congratulations to Derrick and future Camaro Convertible owners. Spring time is arriving and soon it will be the summer. Just think how much fun it'll be driving down the highway with the top down? Priceless.
